Charity Feedback

In 2005 the Charity Walk raised money for Lyme Park amongst other charities.
The head warden, Emily Orford was in touch to convey her thanks for the funds and informed us that the money was being used towards funding stone for a section of footpath being built in Knightslow wood. It is hoped that this path will improve access to Lyme Park, a National Trust park that was the scene of the 2005 charity challenge.

In Great Ormond Street Hospital’s foyer, a plaque can be seen acknowledging the contribution of MKA UK in raising essential funds for the children’s hospital.

Whilst expressions of such gratitude are greatly appreciated, they are not the main driving force for MKA UK’s members. The motivation in fact lies in seeking the pleasure and closeness of God and knowing that He is pleased when benevolence is shown to His creation. Thus it is to Him that members of the community look for their real reward.
