Details

  • Check back here soon for details

Please Note: Competitive and non-competitive participants will all set-off at the same time, for their respective races, although the competitive members will be brought to the front of the start line.

Race Position / Time

Your position in the respective race you are competing in, along with your time will be given to you as you cross the finish line.  When you reach the finish line you will be handed a stub of paper with your race position and time on it.  Keep hold of this and hand it in to the desk to have your certificate printed.  Please note that times will be based on the start time of your respective race (not the time you cross the start line) – for those requiring a more accurate time, please bring a stop watch with you.

Safety

Some parts of the route require you to walk/run along roads.  Please ensure you walk/run on one side of the road and follow instructions given by marshals.

There are also a number of road crossings along the route.  Each road crossing is marshalled, but you must ensure you listen to and act accordingly to the instructions given.  If a marshal requests that you stop and wait for traffic, you must obey this instruction regardless of how close your competitors are.

Residential Areas

Please note that some parts of the route pass by residential areas.  Although the route runs along public footpaths/bridleways we ask that you please refrain from shouting/disturbing in any way the residents along the route.

Refreshment

There will be water and fruit available along the route.  You are advised to keep at least one bottle of water with you at all times.  You may also wish to carry a small back-pack to store some refreshments to keep your energy levels up.

Pick Up

For walkers/runners wishing to give up before their finish line, pick ups can be arranged. However, unless you are injured, you may be asked to reach the next available point with road access.
