Worcester Park & New Malden Qiadat Media Coverage of MKACC 2010

 Young Muslims from Worcester Park & New Malden are celebrating raising a record sum for British causes. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA) marked its silver jubilee ‘Charity Challenge’ by raising £150,000 – beating the £112,800 raised last year.

 

Members took part in a 10km run last Sunday (9 May) in Windsor in support of 10 charities including Great Ormond Street Hospital, Macmillan Cancer Support, Save the Children, Humanity First and Barnardo's. This year the Association also supported the Royal British Legion and the Royal National Institute of Blind People for the first time.
